Adjunct Professor

She holds a PHD from USP (2007) and a Postdoctorate from University of Toulouse – Le Mirail, 2008. Professor in the Department of Sociology at UFSCar. She leads the Group of Studies on Violence and Conflict management – GEVAC. She works in the areas of Sociology of Justice Management and Sociology of Violence, mainly in the themes: institutional management of conflicts, access to justice, violence, public security, system of justice, prisons, state control of the crime, studies on the police. She is a researcher of INCT – Institute of Comparative studies in Institutional Management of Conflicts – InEAC. She has experience in university extension, in consultancies, applied researches and actions related to implementation of policies of violence prevention and public security.
