She took a degree in Psychology from University of São Paulo in 1990, a master’s degree in Education from Federal University of São Carlos and a PHD in Sociology from State University Julio de Mesquita Filho (2000). Nowadays, she is an associate professor in the Department of Psychology at Federal University of São Carlos. She works in the areas of Social Psychology, Social Psychology of Work, Rural Sociology and Sociology of Development, doing researches with emphasis in the relations stablished between the ways of rural and urban work organization in the contemporaneity and the processes of worker subjectivation, especially the participation in social movements and in the processes of formulation and implementation of work and income public policies.
