He holds a PHD in Sociology from USP, 2001, and two Posdoctorates, one from University of Michigan, 2008, and the other from University of California, 2013. Associate professor in the Department of Sociology at UFSCar and Adjunct coordinator in the area of Sociology/Social Sciences at CAPES. He coordinates Quereres – Group of researches in differences, gender and sexuality –, supervises researches on the contemporary uses of digital medias in a perspective focused on issues involving differences of sexuality, gender, race and ethnicity. He holds a PHD in Sociology from USP (2001) and did part of his studies at University of Chicago, under Sander L. Gilman supervision, specialist in the intersection between race and sexuality. Miskolci is a CNPQ researcher, collaborator researcher from the group of studies on Gender Pagu at Unicamp and member of the Editorial Committee of Sociologies in Dialogue Journal. He is a member of the International Sociological Association, the Brazilian Society of Sociology, the Latin American Studies Association and the Brazilian Studies Association. He coordinates the collection Annablume Queer.
